Simple elegance

It is not easy for us photographers to describe with words the experience of being at a wedding that, for some reason, has marked you for life. The energy of the couple definitely determines the rhythm of the day, through the details in all their refinement, and of course the emotions.

Andonis and Christina are a wonderful couple: discreet and simple in their communication, self-confident in what they ask.

The wedding ceremony took place in December 2015, in central church of Vouliagmeni, a southern suburb of Athens that lays by the sea. The wedding reception followed at the very chic Balux Private Club. Everything went just as it should have gone: love, and those looks that betray enthusiasm and trust.

There is an image I really love, that of the couple walking away, slightly bowing. I am not sure why this photograph touches me – it may be something about the journey they are about to embark on.
